My First Submission for Create a Starship Contest

Introduction
Before I started designing my spaceship I toughed about what players of eve-online would like to see in their game. I heard/saw often about tier 2 destroyers or logistic frigates. With that in mind I started off with some elements that would fit a Minmatar ship and then started building the actual ship itself. Eventually it became the size of a frigate.

Inspiration
My Inspiration came from the "new generation" of Minmatar ships who arrived later in the game such as Hurricane, Maelstrom, Nidhogger & the Hel (and the Loki partially). It would be only logical if I would follow their designs to a Curtain extent. Also I added some personal style to my design. I took the armor/defence plating from the Nidhogger/Hel/Hurricane and took the "wingy" bit from the Maelstrom and modified it that would look like they are on a frigate sized ship. This assures the "FREAKING VERTICAL"-ness what Eve-Players like.

Why "Talwar"?
Scimitar is the bigger brother of this ship which is a logistics cruiser. I found out that the name Scimitar is a name for an Indian sword. So I wanted to have a name that is similar that of the Scimitar. Wikipedia gave multiple names of similar swords and one popped out: Talwar - It almost sounds like the Minmatar Dread naglfar

Looks great but I can't help feeling that it looks more like a Caldari design than a Minmitar

I played for 5 years and the last 3 years under the name "Jalif" (might know me from pvp-vids called Jalification) - But I quit the game a month ago since it got shit and to much time has to be spend to that game to be remotely succesfull.
